The National Meteorological Institute (INM) predicts a period of variable weather conditions from May 26 to 29, 2026, coinciding with the Eid al-Adha holidays. The weather will be marked by localized thunderstorms on Tuesday, followed by a gradual improvement and a return to more stable conditions across the country.
Tuesday, May 26
Expect localized thunderstorms accompanied by rain in the afternoon in the western regions of the center. East-southeast winds will blow at moderate speeds, strengthening temporarily in the south in the late afternoon, potentially leading to local sandstorms. Maximum temperatures will range from 24 to 28°C on the coast and in mountainous areas, and from 29 to 34°C in other regions.
Wednesday, May 27 (Eid al-Adha)
The sky will be generally clear over most of the country. East-southeast winds will remain moderate, while temperatures will stabilize between 25 and 30°C on coastal areas and in mountainous regions, and between 30 and 34°C elsewhere.
Thursday, May 28
The weather will be generally clear across the territory, with east-southeast winds remaining moderate. Temperatures will experience a slight increase compared to the previous day.
Friday, May 29
The sky will be generally clear to partly cloudy over most regions. Weather conditions will remain stable, with east-southeast winds blowing at moderate speeds and temperatures showing no significant change.
