Tunisian President Congratulates Egyptian Counterpart on 52nd Anniversary of October War
The President of the Tunisian Republic, Kaïs Saïed, called his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah al-Sissi, this evening to congratulate him and the Egyptian people on the 52nd anniversary of the October War, which took place on October 6, 1973.
During the telephone conversation, the Tunisian President emphasized that this historical event, which allowed the nation to regain its dignity and pride, will forever be etched in memory and will serve as a source of inspiration for the restoration of all glories.
This conversation also provided an opportunity for the two leaders to reaffirm their shared determination and firm will to strengthen the historical and distinguished relations between Tunisia and Egypt, as well as between their brotherly peoples.
