Increase in Divorce Rates and Decrease in Single Population in Tunisia

The National Institute of Statistics (INS) has revealed an increase in the percentage of divorced men in Tunisia, rising from 0.5% in 2004 to 1.4% in 2024. Similarly, the percentage of divorced women has increased from 1.5% in 2004 to 2.8% in 2024. Meanwhile, the percentage of single men has decreased, dropping from 47.1% in 2004 to 39% in 2024, while the percentage of single women has also declined, falling from 38% in 2004 to 29.8% in 2024.
