British Tourist Arrivals in Tunisia Reach 380,000 Visitors
As of October 20, 2025, the number of British tourists arriving in Tunisia has reached 380,000 visitors, representing a 42% increase compared to 2024 and a 98% increase compared to 2019, according to Fakhri Khalsi, representative of the National Tourism Office in London, on Monday, October 27, 2025.
Positive Image of Tunisia on the British Tourist Market
During a phone intervention on the "Youm Saïd" show on national radio, Fakhri Khalsi stated that Tunisia's image on the British tourist market is very good, particularly over the past two years, during which British tourists have returned "in force" to the Tunisian destination, in his own words.
Expected Record-Breaking Tourist Numbers
He added that the number of British tourists this year will exceed 425,000, a figure recorded in 2014.
Increased Flight Frequencies
In this context, Mr. Khalsi indicated that approximately 52 weekly flights are scheduled from the UK to several Tunisian airports for the 2025-2026 winter season, in addition to 78 weekly flights scheduled from 16 British destinations to Tunisia during the next summer season (2026).
Tunisia Ranked Among Top 25 Tourist Destinations
Fakhri Khalsi welcomed the recent ranking of Tunisia among the 25 best tourist destinations in the world, recommended as an excellent diving spot in North Africa.
