Mobile Emergency and Medical Resuscitation Unit Launched in Medjez el-Bab
A mobile emergency and medical resuscitation unit was launched on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in Medjez el-Bab, as part of the reinforcement of the emergency medical aid system and the acceleration of interventions in critical situations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This unit allows for direct intervention on site: at patients' homes, workplaces, or on roads, particularly after traffic accidents and other emergency situations. It thus contributes to saving lives and ensuring rapid and effective care before transportation to the hospital.
The deployment of this unit is part of the national program for the development of emergency and proximity medicine, thanks to modern medical equipment and specialized health teams. The goal is to guarantee rapid and effective interventions in case of emergencies, while bringing services closer to citizens.
The Ministry of Health continues its efforts to equip the healthcare system with advanced and modern means, strengthen its capabilities, improve the quality of its services, and promote health equity, with the aim of ensuring health for all.
