Official Inauguration of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Training Center in Tunis

The Traditional Chinese Medicine Training Center was officially inaugurated this Friday in Tunis, in the presence of H.E. WAN Li, Ambassador of China to Tunisia, Mr. HUANG Jiawen, Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and H.E. Mustapha Ferjani, Tunisian Minister of Health.

During the ceremony, H.E. WAN Li emphasized that this center will provide Tunisian doctors with opportunities for learning and clinical practice in traditional Chinese medicine. He also recalled that this initiative is a new fruit of Sino-Tunisian cooperation in the field of health and reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to strengthen this partnership.

Minister Mustapha Ferjani, on his part, recalled his visit to China earlier this year, during which Tunisia and China had concluded several agreements on health cooperation. He expressed his satisfaction at seeing the center become operational, describing it as a concrete result of this cooperation, and expressed hope that the Tunisian-Chinese partnership in the field of health will continue to develop and bear fruit.

The new center aims to train Tunisian health professionals in the methods and practices of traditional Chinese medicine, while promoting scientific and clinical exchanges between the two countries. It is part of a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral collaboration in the health sector.
