Tunisia Declares Deep Concern Over Dangerous Military Escalation in the Middle East
Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad
“Tunisia follows with profound concern the dangerous military escalation in the Middle East and reaffirms its commitment to the respect of international law and the sovereignty of states.”
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Tunisia also expressed grave anxiety about the potential risks stemming from this escalation, notably the expansion of the conflict and a slide toward chaos. The ministry highlighted “the serious threat this poses to regional and international security and peace.”
Tunisia reiterates its adherence to the principle of state sovereignty and condemns any aggression against the territory of any state or any violation of its territorial integrity, according to the same source.
Furthermore, the ministry added that, in “this context of extreme gravity,” Tunisia “absolutely rejects any infringement on the territory of brother Arab countries” and affirms full solidarity with:

Call for Immediate De‑Escalation
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stressed that “Tunisia, faithful to its commitment to Arab and Islamic brotherhood, to the principles of international law, and to the peaceful settlement of disputes, calls on all parties to immediately cease military operations, act with wisdom, and return to the negotiating table.”

Appeal to the United Nations Security Council
Tunisia emphasized the need for the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities and to take the necessary measures to safeguard international peace and security.
