Bryan Adams Arrives in Tunis for Highly Anticipated Concerts
Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams arrived in Tunis on Friday, ahead of two highly anticipated concerts scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd, and Sunday, May 3rd, at the ancient theater of Dougga.
As part of his first appearance in Tunisia, Adams will be opening the 50th edition of the International Festival of Dougga. This marks the beginning of his global tour, titled "Bare Bones Tour," which will continue in the United States, Africa, and Europe.
Upon arrival, Adams was greeted by members of his team and later joined the site to finalize the last-minute preparations for the concerts, which have generated immense excitement among the public.
In a statement to TAP news agency, Adams expressed his satisfaction at performing in front of the Tunisian public for the first time in such a prestigious historical setting.
As one of the most iconic figures in international rock music, Adams has achieved global success with hits like "Summer of '69," "Heaven," and "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You." Throughout his career spanning over four decades, he has sold millions of albums and performed on the world's biggest stages.
Due to the rapid sell-out of tickets for the initial show, a second date was added on May 3rd. Adams will offer an acoustic, stripped-down format, prioritizing intimacy and emotion.
Adams' visit is expected to attract a large number of national and international spectators, further enhancing the international reputation of the Dougga site, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
