Investigation into Potato Hoarding: Former Union Official Arrested
The investigative judge at the Court of First Instance of Ben Arous issued a detention warrant against Lassad Yacoubi, former Secretary General of the General Federation of Secondary Education, for alleged "hoarding and speculation" of potatoes, according to a judicial source speaking to Diwan FM.
Background
To recall, the public prosecutor had already ordered his detention after the seizure of approximately 13 tons of potatoes stored in an illegal warehouse owned by him.
