Arrests Made in School-Related Drug Trafficking Case
The Sidi Hussein judicial police brigade has arrested 40 individuals suspected of trafficking the drug "Lyrica" in a school setting, with quantities of the substance found in their possession.
According to a security source cited by Diwan FM radio, among those arrested was an individual previously sentenced to 240 years in prison for public law offenses. Additionally, this person is the subject of 101 arrest warrants issued by various judicial and security authorities, including for issuing checks without sufficient funds.
The public prosecutor's office at the Court of First Instance of Tunis 2 has ordered the provisional detention of the suspects and the opening of an investigation in accordance with procedure.
