Tunisia and Nepal Explore "Promising Prospects" for Economic and Cultural Cooperation
Tunisia and Nepal are exploring "promising prospects" for developing their economic and cultural cooperation, following a meeting on Monday in Tunis between the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Ben Ayed, and a delegation of Nepalese businessmen led by the Honorary Consul of Tunisia in Nepal, Bhawani Rana.
Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
During a meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Ben Ayed highlighted the prominent role of the Honorary Consul of Tunisia in Nepal, Bhawani Rana, in promoting Tunisian tourism and investment climate among Nepalese economic operators.
Diversifying Partnerships
The Secretary of State reaffirmed the willingness of Tunisian diplomacy to "diversify partnerships based on the principles of reciprocity, mutual interests, and respect for national choices".
Commitment to Cooperation
For his part, Bhawani Rana expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and committed to "deploying all necessary efforts" to establish a fruitful cooperation between the two countries, in coordination with the Tunisian Embassy in New Delhi, accredited to Nepal.
