Tunisia Reaffirms Support for International Criminal Court
The Tunisian Ambassador to The Hague, Skander Denguezli, has reaffirmed Tunisia's support for the International Criminal Court (ICC) in its efforts to combat impunity for the most serious international crimes and to deliver justice to victims, despite the growing challenges faced by the Court.
In a statement delivered on December 2, during the public debate of the 24th session of the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute, held in The Hague from December 1 to 6, Denguezli recalled the close cooperation between the relevant Tunisian authorities and the ICC, aimed at enabling the Court to fulfill its missions to the best of its abilities, according to the official page of the Tunisian Embassy in The Hague.
On this occasion, Denguezli urged the International Criminal Court to continue its efforts to bring to justice those responsible for the occupying entity for the crimes of genocide they committed for over two years in the Gaza Strip.
