Call for Participation: Tunisian-Algerian Bilateral Professional Meetings
The Center for Export Promotion (CEPEX) is calling on companies interested in participating in the Tunisian-Algerian bilateral professional meetings, to be held on the sidelines of the Tunisian-Algerian Economic Forum (December 9-12, 2025) in Tunis, to fill out the participation form on the website.
Event Organization
This economic event is organized at the initiative of CEPEX, in cooperation with the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade, and Handicrafts (UTICA), under the presidency of Head of Government Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, and the Algerian Prime Minister, according to CEPEX.
Bilateral Economic Cooperation
Tunisia and Algeria are working to develop bilateral economic cooperation, in light of the growth of trade exchanges between the two countries, which has reached a rate of 11.4% over the past ten years, compared to 8.9% with other partners, according to CEPEX data.
Trade Exchange Volume
The total volume of trade exchanges between Tunisia and Algeria reached 5,810 million dinars (MD) during the first nine months of 2025.
Economic Opportunities
Economic actors in both countries agree that despite the importance of this value, trade remains concentrated in a limited number of sectors, which requires restructuring and diversification of cooperation processes. Promising opportunities are available to Tunisia, particularly in:
- Strengthening its position in the manufacturing industries
- Developing its exports in the agri-food sector, particularly fish products and food preparations
- Taking advantage of the growing demand for mechanical products and automotive components.
