Meeting Between Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Algerian Parliamentary Delegation

Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, received a delegation representing the Algerian Parliament today, November 26, 2025. The delegation, composed of members from the Tunisian-Algerian Fraternity and Friendship Parliamentary Group, was led by Mohamed El Hadi Tebsi.

Strengthening Bilateral Relations

This meeting was an opportunity for the minister to reaffirm the depth and solidity of the historical fraternal relations between the two brotherly peoples, as well as the common will of the leaders of the two countries to further develop cooperation and good neighborly relations between Tunisia and Algeria, and to raise them to the highest levels.

Upcoming Bilateral Events

In this regard, he recalled the ongoing preparations to ensure the success of upcoming bilateral events, including the Tunisian-Algerian Mixed Commission, which will be held in Tunis from December 9 to 12, 2025.

Role of Parliamentary Institutions

The minister also praised the role assigned to the parliamentary and legislative institutions of the two countries in supporting efforts to promote bilateral cooperation between Tunisia and Algeria and to implement existing cooperation projects between them. Furthermore, he emphasized the missions entrusted to Tunisian and Algerian parliamentarians to defend the interests of the two countries within Arab, African, and other parliamentary frameworks to which they belong, given the magnitude of current security and economic challenges.
