Ministry of Finance Introduces New System for Cash Register Management

The Ministry of Finance has informed the public of the implementation of a dedicated information system for managing cash registers for on-site consumption operations. In parallel, a virtual space has been created for suppliers of these cash registers, allowing them to test storage, security, and data transfer to the central information platform, in accordance with the technical requirements defined in the specifications.

In a statement published on Friday, the General Directorate of Taxes specified that this virtual space allows:

  • Consultation and downloading of the Technical and Functional Specifications Document
  • Access to the Technical Procedures Manual, facilitating the updating of cash register software
  • Integration testing to verify the compatibility of software with the central information system
  • Submission of accreditation requests
