Minister of Transport Recommends Elaboration of Work Programs for Tunisair
During the steering committee meeting of the safety management system at the Tunisair headquarters, Minister of Transport Rachid Amri recommended the development of a calendar of work programs within a maximum period of 15 days. He also suggested the formation of special teams to ensure their progressive implementation.
These programs will need to cover various areas, including:
- Maintenance
- Air operations
- Quality
- Security
The Minister emphasized the need to manage financial, logistical, and human resources based on priorities, in order to improve fleet availability.
Preparation for the Upcoming Season
The Minister also recommended good technical and logistical preparation to ensure the commercial program of the next season in the best possible conditions. The goal is to respond to the expected tourist influx in the country, increase the company's market share in terms of passenger traffic, and strengthen the network with new air routes.
Importance of Planning and Risk Management
In this context, the Minister stressed the importance of planning, anticipation, and taking preventive measures to manage risks, in order to achieve the objectives set by the programs. He also emphasized the need to monitor the implementation of these programs and ensure their continuity.
Meeting at Tunisair Headquarters
The Minister of Transport visited the Tunisair headquarters on Wednesday afternoon, September 17, 2025, to chair this meeting. Attendees included the Minister's chief of staff, the interim general manager of Tunisair, the general manager of Tunisair Technique, as well as several officials from the ministry and the two companies.
