Hand Luggage Policy for Tunisair Passengers
For many travelers, the question of hand luggage remains essential before any flight, particularly to avoid additional fees or inconvenience during boarding. Tunisair, the national airline, applies a clear policy in this regard, in line with international standards and aimed at ensuring comfort and safety on board.
Hand Luggage Allowance in Economy Class
In economy class, each passenger is allowed to carry one piece of cabin luggage with a maximum weight of 8 kilograms. The dimensions must not exceed approximately 55 × 40 × 20 cm, so that they can be easily stored in the overhead compartments.
Hand Luggage Allowance in Business Class (Espace Privilège)
In business class, travelers benefit from a more flexible allowance: two pieces of cabin luggage are permitted, with a total weight not exceeding 10 kilograms.
Additional Personal Item
In addition to these bags, passengers have the option to bring a personal accessory (such as a handbag, laptop, or briefcase) provided it can be slipped under the seat in front.
General Rules and Conditions
Tunisair reminds passengers that these rules apply to all its flights, whether domestic, regional, or international, and that it is the responsibility of each passenger to check the specific conditions associated with their ticket. In case of exceeding the authorized weight or dimensions, the luggage may be transferred to the hold, subject to additional fees.
Objective of the Policy
This policy aims primarily to ensure a smooth boarding process, avoid overloading the cabin compartments, and guarantee the safety and comfort of all passengers. Tunisair therefore invites its customers to carefully prepare their luggage before departure to travel in complete serenity.
