International Drug Trafficking Network Dismantled in Tunisia
The criminal chamber of the Tunis Court of First Instance has sentenced six members of an international drug trafficking network to prison terms ranging from 12 to 31 years, accompanied by heavy financial fines.
According to a judicial source quoted by Diwan Fm, the defendants specialized in cocaine trafficking, which they cut and hid in air conditioners before storing it in a warehouse located in the Manar neighborhood. The traffickers were arrested at the port of La Goulette upon their arrival from a European country, in possession of over 12 kilograms of cocaine.
