Tunisian Stock Market Index Sees Significant Growth in Q1 2026
The Tunis Stock Exchange Index (Tunindex) has recorded a notable increase of 14.25% at the end of the first quarter of 2026, compared to a 10.25% growth during the same period in 2025, according to data published on the Tunis Stock Exchange website.
Meanwhile, the Tunindex 20 index has progressed by 14.05% during this period, compared to 11.72% at the end of March 2025.
Notably, 11 out of 12 sectoral indices published by the Tunis Stock Exchange have shown positive performance at the close of the first quarter 2026.
The best performance was achieved by the "Consumer Services" index, with a surge of 20.98%, followed by the "Agricultural and Beverage" index, which grew by 19.34%.
On the other hand, only the "Household and Personal Care Products" index recorded a negative performance, with a decline of 1.92%.
