Ministry of Equipment and Housing Announces Reopening of Underpass

The Ministry of Equipment and Housing has announced that the underpass located on local road number 541 (Street 9042), connecting the Djebel Jelloud and La Cagna neighborhoods, will be open to traffic starting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4, 2025.

Background

This opening is part of the ongoing work on the project to expand the southern entrance of the capital, aiming to improve traffic flow and user safety.

Important Notice

The ministry specified that trucks with a height exceeding 3.8 meters are not authorized to use this passage. Additionally, it called on all users to respect the signage and road indications in place.
