Global Fleet Soumoud Ships to Arrive in Sidi Bou Saïd Port on Sunday
The ships of the Global Fleet Soumoud, coming from Spain, are expected to arrive at the port of Sidi Bou Saïd on Sunday evening, announced Wael Nawar, a member of the Global Authority of the Soumoud Fleet to lift the Gaza blockade, in a statement to Mosaïque.
Background
About twenty ships had left the port of Barcelona on Monday as part of this mission to break the blockade imposed on Gaza. According to satellite tracking sites, the ships have been approaching Tunisian territorial waters since this morning.
Update on Navigation Schedule
The Global Authority of the Soumoud Fleet had announced yesterday a postponement of the initial navigation date to Wednesday, September 10, due to technical and logistical reasons beyond its control.
