49th Conference of Arab Police and Security Chiefs Kicks Off in Tunis

The Minister of Interior, Khaled Nouri, inaugurated the 49th conference of Arab police and security chiefs on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Tunis. The event is being held under the supervision of the President of the Republic at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council.
Participants and Attendees
The conference brings together heads and members of Arab diplomatic missions accredited to Tunisia, as well as representatives from international, regional, and Arab organizations, including Interpol and the Naif University for Security Sciences. Chiefs of delegations and officials from Arab police and security forces are also participating in the conference.
Keynote Address
In his opening speech, Khaled Nouri emphasized the importance that Tunisia attaches to initiatives aimed at strengthening Arab security cooperation and consolidating common action mechanisms. He highlighted that this conference represents a new opportunity to:
- Unify and coordinate efforts
- Exchange visions
- Harmonize positions on current challenges with the objective of serving the interests of Arab peoples and ensuring their security, stability, and territorial integrity.
