Astronomical Evening at the Tunis Science City
The Tunis Science City will host a free astronomical evening on December 27th, starting at 6 pm, open to the general public and dedicated to the "winter constellations". This event, accessible without prior registration, aims to offer an immersive discovery of the winter sky through conferences and telescope observations.
Target Audience
This event is designed for both astronomy enthusiasts and curious individuals, with the ambition of promoting scientific culture among all generations and encouraging interest in astronomy and space exploration.
Program
The program includes a conference titled "Celestial Wonders... a journey through the winter sky", which will introduce the main constellations and phenomena visible during this time of year. This will be followed by a guided observation session led by specialists, allowing visitors to admire the Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, and the famous Orion Nebula, one of the most spectacular objects in the deep sky.
Objective
This evening represents one of the recurring activities of the Tunis Science City to make astronomy accessible to as many people as possible and strengthen scientific popularization in Tunisia.
