In a statement released Thursday, the municipal manager of Tunis called on all merchants in municipal markets to strictly respect the authorized floor areas and not exceed them.
The statement, posted on the municipality’s official Facebook page, stresses the need to keep aisles and corridors clear of any obstacles that impede customer traffic.
It also notes that any violation will expose the offender to administrative and legal actions, as well as financial penalties.
