14th Edition of Tunis Book Fair Opens its Doors
The 14th edition of the Tunis Book Fair opens its doors today, Thursday, December 18, 2025, and will run until January 3, 2026, on Habib Bourguiba Avenue, under the slogan: "Habib Bourguiba Avenue, Avenue of Culture".
Participating Publishers and Exhibits
Over 80 Tunisian publishing houses are participating in this event, showcasing more than 30,000 titles covering various fields of knowledge, literature, and thought. On this occasion, significant discounts of up to 50% are being offered to readers.
Program and Activities
The program includes a dedicated tent for workshops, seminars, and daily literary meetings, with the participation of nearly 130 speakers (writers, poets, researchers, and thinkers). Dialogue sessions will address current topics such as:
- Philosophy
- Artificial Intelligence
- The influence of global cultures on the Tunisian cultural scene
Cultural Exchange and Decentralization
In a bid to open up to the regions and promote cultural decentralization, the fair is hosting the governorates of Kébili and Siliana as guests of honor this year. Their cultural and creative specificities will be highlighted through various exhibitions, meetings, and performances.
Organization and Partnerships
This event is organized by the Regional Delegation of Cultural Affairs of Tunis and the Municipality of Tunis, in partnership with the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, the Governorate of Tunis, the National Book Center, the Tunisian Publishers Union, and several cultural partner institutions.
