Tunis Criminal Court Sentences Street Vendor to 30 Years for Murder
The criminal chamber of the First‑Instance Court of Tunis has handed down a 30‑year prison term to a street vendor for the fatal stabbing of a young man. The attack occurred after an altercation in the Bab Jedid neighbourhood of the capital.
According to the case file, the convicted vendor produced a concealed “Mous Bousaâda” knife hidden under his clothing and delivered multiple blows to the victim. Despite emergency assistance, the young man succumbed to his injuries.
