American President Donald Trump Honored with First-Ever FIFA Peace Award
American President Donald Trump was honored on Friday with the first edition of the FIFA Peace Award, during the draw ceremony for the 2026 World Cup in Washington. Before receiving the distinction, Trump stated that he "deserved it". According to the International Football Federation, this award recognizes "the considerable efforts of individuals who unite people and give hope to future generations".
