Action Against Waste on Railway Tracks
In response to the persistent problem of waste dumping on railway tracks, the Tunis Transport Company (Transtu) has intervened to remove the accumulated trash on the TGM line near Salambo. According to IFM radio, this intervention aims to ensure the safety and regularity of rail traffic on this line connecting Tunis to La Goulette and Marsa. These cleaning and prevention measures have been put in place to avoid any future disruption of the service. The company is also calling on citizens not to throw waste on the tracks, reminding them that such practices can cause delays, incidents, and risks to users.
