Transport budget 36 bn will be injected to modernise border posts

Joint Plenary Session of the People's Representatives Assembly (ARP) and the Council of Regions and Districts

The joint plenary session of the People's Representatives Assembly (ARP) and the Council of Regions and Districts, held this morning, Monday, November 17, 2025, is examining the budget of the Ministry of Transport's mission. As part of this budget, 15.7 million dinars (MD) have been allocated to the National Institute of Meteorology (INM) to:

  • Continue the development of regional meteorological surveillance stations
  • Implement the Integrated Natural Disaster Resilience Program, including the establishment of a radar network
  • Develop the meteorological surveillance station network in airports Additionally, 36.1 million dinars (MD) in credits have been allocated to:
  • Continue the development and maintenance work of border posts
  • Launch the development work of the Malloula, Bouchebka, and Ras Jedir land border posts
