Tourist revenues and labor income able to cover 120% of external debt

Tunisia's Tourist Receipts and Labor Income Reach 11.8 Billion Dinars

According to indicators published by the Central Bank of Tunisia on Monday, the total of tourist receipts and labor income is estimated at around 11.8 billion dinars as of September 10, 2025. This amount represents 120% of Tunisia's external debt service.

Compared to the same period in 2024, tourist receipts increased by 8.7% to reach 5.7 billion dinars, while labor income progressed by 8.3% to exceed 6 billion dinars.

On the other hand, the external debt service slightly decreased by 4.3%, from 10.2 billion dinars on September 10, 2024, to 9.8 billion dinars on September 10, 2025.

Finally, the country's foreign exchange reserves remained stable in recent days, standing at 25.5 billion dinars as of September 12, 2025, equivalent to 110 days of imports.
