Tomorrow, Friday February 27 2026, the Second Batch of the International Order for 461 New Buses from China Will Arrive at La Goulette Port
The first batch, consisting of 134 buses, was received on February 7.
Transport Minister Rachid Al‑Amri announced during a restricted cabinet meeting chaired by the government on January 12 that the 461 new buses would be delivered to Tunisia in phases during the first quarter of the current year.
According to a previous press release from the Presidency of the Government, the buses will be distributed fairly among the regions based on objective and transparent criteria, covering the entire territory—both in cities and between them.
This allocation will take into account the real needs of each region, with a particular priority to de‑isolate several areas of the country and ease the difficulties faced by citizens.
