Selected from over 11,000 candidates, Ms. Bardaa represented African youth during the preparatory process for the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9), held in Yokohama. During her one-year tenure at the UNDP office in Tokyo, she played a pivotal role in planning and organizing this historic summit.
