Three Tunisian Companies Specialized in Automotive Component Manufacturing Participate in the Paris International Automotive Component Show
The event, which takes place from October 14 to 18, will also feature a dedicated pavilion for Tunisia, with the participation of the Tunisian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CTFCI), the Tunisian Automobile Association (TAA), and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA). According to a statement from the CTFCI, the three participating Tunisian companies are active in the manufacture of high-performance batteries, the metal solutions and innovative components sector, and the production of high-quality plastic parts. Through this pavilion, Tunisia aims to highlight its industrial capabilities, innovative spirit, and competitiveness in the automotive component manufacturing sector, offering its international partners high-value-added cooperation opportunities. The CTFCI confirms its commitment to supporting its member companies in their approach to international markets and strengthening their presence on the global stage. According to the Minister of Industry, Mines, and Energy, Tunisia ranks second in Africa in the automotive component and equipment industry. This sector contributes around 4% of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), comprises approximately 300 companies, provides over 120,000 jobs, and its exports exceeded €2.2 billion by the end of 2024.
