Lynk & Co Enters Tunisian Market with Three Electrified Models
The Sino-Swedish automotive brand Lynk & Co has officially entered the Tunisian market, presenting three electrified models during an event organized by Universal Motors, its local distributor, on Thursday evening in Gammarth. This initiative marks an important step in the development of the semi-premium segment of the Tunisian automotive market.
Presented Models
The vehicles presented include:
- The rechargeable hybrid SUV Lynk & Co 08 (priced at 129,900 dinars)
- The versatile SUV Lynk & Co 01 (99,900 dinars)
- The urban crossover Lynk & Co 02 (96,900 dinars)
These vehicles combine advanced technologies, electrification, and contemporary design to meet the needs of urban and highway drivers while remaining competitive in terms of pricing.
An International Alliance-Born Brand
According to Mr. Mohamed Ben Jemaa, General Manager of Ben Jemaa Motors, this new brand was born from a collaboration between Volvo Cars and the Chinese group Geely. "The brand was initially designed by Volvo in Europe, then developed thanks to Geely's industrial and technological expertise in China," he explained. He also specified that the design studios and research and development are located in Sweden, ensuring a balance between European heritage and Asian technological innovation.
"Convincing Lynk & Co to establish itself in Tunisia was not easy," added Mr. Ben Jemaa. "It took two years of hard work to demonstrate that we were reliable partners to introduce the brand to a strategic market."
He also highlighted the group's investment and long-term vision to offer Tunisian consumers a wide range of automotive products.

For Mr. Aymen Montacer, Director of the Volvo brand in Tunisia, Lynk & Co's strength lies in its ability to connect vehicles, people, and communities.
