Zionist Forces Claim Elimination of Iranian Supreme Leader’s Envoy
The Zionist chain 12 announced on Friday that the entity eliminated Ali Asghar Mir Hejazi, the chargé d’affaires of the Supreme Leader’s office of Iran’s Ali Khamenei, on 28 February – the first day of a joint U.S.–Zionist offensive against Iran.
In an official statement, the Zionist army said:
“The army struck a senior commander of the Iranian terrorist system in Tehran.”
Ali Asghar Mir Hejazi was regarded as one of the most influential yet low‑profile figures in the Iranian leadership, overseeing sensitive political and security dossiers within the Supreme Leader’s office.
Air Raid on a Fortified Bunker
The Zionist army also specified that a large‑scale aerial operation involving roughly 50 combat aircraft hit a fortified shelter intended for the Supreme Leader.
According to the communiqué:
“The underground military bunker, located beneath the complex that houses the regime’s leadership in central Tehran, was meant to serve as a fortified emergency command center for the Guide.”
The shelter stretches beneath several streets in central Tehran and includes multiple entrances and meeting rooms used by senior officials of the Iranian regime, the army added.
