The Tunisian Passport Ranks 75th Globally in the Henley Passport Index 2025
According to the latest update published by the international consulting firm Henley & Partners, the Tunisian passport has been ranked 75th worldwide in the Henley Passport Index 2025. This ranking, established from data provided by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), measures the travel freedom offered by each passport based on the number of destinations accessible without a prior visa or with a visa on arrival. The Tunisian travel document now allows its holders to travel to 68 countries without a visa or by obtaining a visa upon arrival, placing Tunisia in the middle of the global ranking and among the most stable African passports in terms of international mobility. Globally, Singapore retains the top spot with visa-free access to 193 destinations, followed by South Korea (190) and Japan (189). The US passport, on the other hand, has fallen for the first time in several years, now occupying 12th place, with 180 destinations accessible without a visa.
