Goals and expectations
Building on the success of the previous edition, the event—branded “Tourathna” (Our Heritage)—aims to attract a broad audience for this festive, civic march. Organisers present the parade as an act of cultural transmission and pride, merging tangible and intangible heritage for one memorable night of Ramadan.
(Translation: “Building on the success of the previous edition, ‘Tourathna’ hopes to mobilise a wide public around this festive and civic march, conceived as an act of heritage transmission and pride, and as a marriage of material and immaterial heritage for one night of Ramadan.”)
