Tunisian Dinar Continues to Lose Ground Against the Euro
According to the latest figures from the Central Bank of Tunisia, the Tunisian dinar continues to depreciate against the euro. As of October 1, 2025, 1 euro was exchanged for 3.4247 dinars, compared to 3.4215 dinars on September 30, recording a slight but constant depreciation.
Stability Against the US Dollar
In contrast, the Tunisian currency has slightly stabilized against the US dollar, moving from 3.0168 dinars on September 30 to 3.0155 dinars on October 1. The dinar has also experienced slight adjustments against other currencies: the British pound is exchanged for 3.8971 dinars and the Swiss franc for 3.7652 dinars.
Persistent Pressure on the National Currency
This trend reflects the ongoing pressure on the national currency, already weakened by inflation and the country's economic challenges. Analysts emphasize that the value of the dinar will remain sensitive to foreign exchange reserves and fluctuations in international markets.
