Pope Voices Deep Concern Over Escalating Violence After U.S. and Israeli Strikes on Iran
The Pope expressed, on Sunday, his profound worry about the events that followed the American and Israeli strikes against Iran, calling for an end to what he described as a “spiral of violence.”
He urged the parties involved to assume their moral responsibilities and halt the escalation before it becomes irreversible.
During his weekly homily on St. Peter’s Square, the Pope added:
“Stability and peace are not built through mutual threats or weapons, but only through rational, sincere, and responsible dialogue.”
