Ministry of Interior Announces Support for Installing Surveillance Cameras around Educational Institutions
The Ministry of Interior has announced its support for a proposal to install surveillance cameras around educational institutions, aiming to prevent deviant behavior and strengthen security efforts to protect the school environment.
In a written response to MP Faycel Sghir, the ministry indicated that this initiative is part of a new joint approach between the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Education to improve security in the environment of schools, colleges, and high schools.
The Interior Department specified that the implementation of this system requires the allocation of specific financial resources as well as coordination meetings between the two ministries. These consultations will allow for the examination of technical, administrative, and logistical aspects essential to the installation of surveillance cameras in the best conditions.
