Ministry of Religious Affairs Announces Total Cost of Hajj for 1447 AH / 2026 Season
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the total cost of the Hajj for the 1447 AH / 2026 season has been set at 20,930,000 dinars. The ministry invites selected candidates who appear on the final lists and have received an SMS to this effect to begin administrative and financial procedures starting from Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
Breakdown of the Announced Cost
- 17,000,000 dinars for accommodation and services provided by the National Company for Services and Residences
- 3,930,000 dinars for airfare via Tunisair
Procedures for Pilgrims
The ministry indicated in a statement that pilgrims must present themselves on the fixed date at the nearest post office to pay the full amount and obtain a payment receipt as well as a prepaid card (e-dinarsmart). These documents must be presented later at the single windows of the concerned governorate centers to finalize the rest of the travel procedures according to the adopted schedule.
Required Documents
Pilgrims are required to have:
- An original valid passport until after November 30, 2026, with at least two blank pages, as well as a copy
- Two white-background identity photos
- A document attesting to the completion of biometric registration (biometric fingerprint) via the dedicated application of the Saudi authorities, "Visa Bio"
