In a statement released today (Wednesday, 11 March 2026), the Ministry of Equipment and Housing announced that a partial traffic diversion will be put in place on Regional Road No. 22 (South Highway) at the Ben Arous Trauma and Major Burns Center.
Why the diversion?
The measure is part of the ongoing works on Lot 03 of the project to extend the southern entrance of the capital. It also coincides with the demolition of the old bridge in the area.
