Inauguration of the 2025-2026 School Year at Ezzahra Secondary School
During the inauguration of the 2025-2026 school year at Ezzahra Secondary School, the Minister of Education, Noureddine Ennouri, stated that the ministry had coordinated with all responsible parties and various state structures to ensure school transportation. In a statement to Kaouther Rakoubi, the minister added that his ministry is monitoring the conditions of the school year in real-time and will intervene quickly to resolve any urgent issues. The minister emphasized that the ministry had lifted all difficulties by publishing the list of textbooks and notebooks to alleviate the burden on Tunisian families.
Security Measures in Schools
Regarding school security, Ennouri indicated that the Ministry of Education had developed a plan in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior to frame these establishments, in addition to effective, daily, and continuous monitoring of the situation in the school environment.
Enrollment Numbers
As of today, public educational institutions at all levels (primary, middle, and secondary) will welcome 2,325,443 students.
