Tunisian Foreign Minister Receives Outgoing Bangladeshi Ambassador
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, received the Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Tunisia, residing in Tripoli, Abu Hassanat Mohamed Khair Al-Bashar, on Monday at the ministry's headquarters. The ambassador paid a farewell visit to mark the end of his mission.
Discussion of Bilateral Relations
The minister took the opportunity to praise the efforts and initiatives deployed by the Bangladeshi ambassador during his term, aimed at strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two brotherly peoples and consolidating bilateral cooperation relations. He also reaffirmed Tunisia's willingness to develop and diversify the partnership between the two countries in various sectors of common interest, as stated in a ministry statement.
Future Cooperation and Consultations
The minister also called for strengthened coordination to ensure the success of the first session of bilateral political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, scheduled for next year.
Ambassador's Gratitude and Commitment
For his part, the Bangladeshi ambassador expressed his gratitude for the facilities and good coordination he received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as from all Tunisian ministerial structures, institutions, and organizations concerned with bilateral cooperation. He emphasized that he will retain an excellent memory of Tunisia and will continue, in his future functions, to support the friendship and cooperation relations with Tunisia.
