Capital Punishment for Father of Two's Killer
The Criminal Chamber of the First Instance Court in Tunis has sentenced a man to death for the murder of a family man, stabbed in front of his wife and two children in the Kram region.
In addition to the death sentence, the court has ordered the payment of 70,000 dinars in material and moral reparations to the victim's family.
According to the case file, the events unfolded when the victim stepped out of a taxi with his wife and two children. An altercation reportedly broke out with the accused, who made indecent remarks.
Investigations revealed that the suspect then pulled out a large knife hidden under his clothes and struck the victim multiple times in the chest and heart area, resulting in the victim's death at the scene.
