A United State with a Common Language and Orientation
Since the President of the Republic's ascension to the highest magistracy, and more specifically, since the July 25, 2021 process, the new Tunisia has a united state that speaks the same language and advocates for the same social, economic, and political orientations, marking the national dynamic in all fields.
A Solemn Statement by the Head of State
The Press - This is a solemn statement reiterated by the Head of State during a meeting with the Head of Government, a statement that, according to the terms of the communiqué made public by the Presidency of the Republic, shed light on the state of management of various public services and the functioning of the state apparatus. Faithful to his vision and conception of public management, President Kais Saied emphasized the obligation to observe flawless neutrality towards institutions and administration, entirely respectful of citizens' expectations and aspirations.
The Need for a Homogeneous Attitude
Hence the need for a homogeneous attitude between the different mechanisms and members of the government team, who have an interest in being on the same wavelength with the idea of having equal and optimal performance, in order to be in phase with the period our country is going through, which, unfortunately, some officials seem not to have fully understood. Indeed, the stage Tunisia is going through is delicate, requiring maximum mobilization of decision-makers to achieve total effectiveness, which does not seem to be the case, as President Kais Saied mentions attempts by some officials, "well-determined" to sow discord and create tensions to harm the country.
A Grave Revelation
What is worse is the revelation made by the Head of State, mentioning that these troublemakers claim to act on behalf of and on the instructions of the "President", which is excessively serious. In any case, they have been clearly denied and denounced by the President of the Republic, who specified that he did not hesitate to "take the bull by the horns", as the saying goes, sometimes intervening in minor cases, in order to solve problems that are supposed to fall under the prerogatives of local authorities or ministerial services.
The State's Commitment to Citizens
On the other hand, while reaffirming the state's willingness to facilitate the lives of all citizens, wherever they are, President Kais Saied indicated that any attempt to mistreat citizens is unacceptable, ensuring that everything is being done to enable Tunisians to benefit from the dividends of development.
The Importance of Youth Involvement
Another major point noted during this interview is the reaffirmation of praise for young people called upon to take up the torch, with a legitimate priority concerning their effective involvement in the national liberation war, which requires total commitment and boundless dedication. In short, for the President of the Republic, competence is certainly necessary but remains insufficient insofar as it must be accompanied by a keen sense of patriotism and a willingness to respond positively to the people's expectations, who remain the master of choices for the country's progress and development.
