Ultra Boreas Mountain Marathon to Take Place in Bizerte on October 25
The governorate of Bizerte is gearing up to host the first edition of the "Ultra Boreas" mountain marathon on Saturday, October 25. This sporting event, aimed at young people, will bring together mountain running enthusiasts from Tunisia and abroad, with the goal of showcasing the region's and country's tourist, environmental, and cultural riches. It also aims to promote local products.
Key Features of the Event
- The main course will cover a distance of 80 km, starting from Ras Angela, the northernmost point of the African continent.
- A second course of 20 km is also planned, with a large number of runners and athletes expected to participate.
Additional Activities
In conjunction with the event, a sports village will be set up, open to the public, offering various activities and stands to introduce local products. The objective is to create an additional cultural, tourist, and economic dynamic in the regions of Bizerte Sud, Sejnane, and throughout the governorate.
