CAB Officials Finally Grant Fans' Wishes
The Press — Since the lifting of the recruitment ban following the payment of the first installment of debts, the CAB has not wasted any time in making its moves during this transfer period. This operation has become necessary, if not essential, for the northern club after the departure of two key players, Alhassan Konte and Abdou Seydi, to other destinations.
And once again, the club has turned to the Senegalese football school to make its choices. In fact, four Senegalese players have just signed a license with the CAB to strengthen the three departments of the game. Let's take a look at these players. They are:
- Mohammed Camara (20 years old), a defender from Casa Sport, the club of former CAB player Abdou Seydi.
- Bonito Fonseca Bonaventure (24 years old), a defensive midfielder.
- Issa Kane (22 years old), a midfielder also from Casa Sport.
- Mbay Mandioune Seydine (23 years old), a striker.
All four players have proven themselves in their respective clubs in Senegalese competitions (1st and 2nd divisions) and even participated in the last CHAN, according to sources close to the CAB. This is a good omen!
Squad Finalized
At the same time, Othmane Charfeddine and Achraf Ferchichi have joined UST and ASK, respectively, on loan. Now that the squad has stabilized, coach Chokri Béjaoui will need to use all these players wisely. In this regard, the match against USBG this Saturday will give us a general idea of the team's state of health.
