Arrest of Intoxicated Individual Following Vandalism of Light Rail
Following the vandalism of light rail number 5 by an intoxicated individual, who smashed the windows and doors, a security patrol from the Sub-Directorate of Interventions and Rescue (under the Directorate of Rescue Police), accompanied by units from the El Omrane National Security District, was able to quickly identify and arrest the suspect at around 2:00 am on Friday. It was discovered that the individual was the subject of a warrant for drug trafficking. After consultation with the public prosecutor, the individual was placed in custody for degradation of public property.
