Adoption of Proposal 102: Titularization of Cleaning Agents Employed by La Poste Tunisienne
The Assembly of People's Representatives adopted proposal number 102 concerning the titularization of cleaning agents employed through the Payment Agency of La Poste Tunisienne on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. The vote resulted in 60 votes in favor, 28 against, and 21 abstentions during the joint plenary session dedicated to examining the additional articles of the 2026 finance bill.
Minister of Finance's Statement
The Minister of Finance, Mechket Salama Khaldi, recalled that La Poste Tunisienne is an autonomous public establishment. According to her, issues related to titularization, recruitment, and human resource management fall under the establishment itself and not the state budget. She expressed her opposition to this proposal, estimating that this subject does not fall within the scope of the finance law.
